This is one source of my headache for the day. I have 2 1/2 weeks left before this semester is over and I have lots of work to do. It is all very "doable" work, but since Matthew is gone to Dallas for a Rails conference, I find myself preoccupied and doing "stress cleaning" around the house when I should be hitting the books. And, since I have blogged twice today, you can tell I am doing various "other" things besides focusing on schoolwork like I should be. Well, I am about to get started studying again, and I promise I will focus - except from 9:00-10:00 tonight when I will take a much anticipated "Lost" break (I gotta find out what "the others are up to!! - oh, and a big BOO! to Juliet for lying to honest and trustworthy Jack that way!!)
Samuel and Madeline turned 6 last month and I have found myself wondering where in the world has the time gone. This year has been especially monumental for us as they started their first year in the "public school system"! Kindergarten has been amazing for both of them and I have seem them grow so much in so many ways.
They are both reading incredibly well, Madeline loves to get all her books down from the shelf in her room and read them to me. Sam is still in love with numbers and will randomly tell me "Hey mom 2+2+4=8" and after I quickly assess it in my head and agree with him he gets this huge grin on his face. I feel so blessed to get to have these two precious children as my own. They have both lost two teeth, have grown tremendously and are just wonderful little kids.
Funny how this big adventure started with my doctor's question to me and the nurse during the ultrasound when I was just 6 weeks pregant "Do you see what I see?" And so it began.
