When I was pregant with Luke and the twins, I would occassionally joke to Matthew about having baby brain when I was a little absent minded. But, with this pregnancy I think I have developed the worst case ever.

As I was cleaning out our junk drawer in the kitchen last week, I came across a ziploc bag with about 5 rolls of film in it. Since we have been using a digital camera for almost 5 years now, I knew this film had to be pretty old. So, I dropped it off at Sam's, expecting the film to have gone bad and not get any pictures back. But, on Friday night we went by Sam's to browse around and I remmeber the film was ready. And yes, on this particular night we were celebrating out 10th anniversary, and browsing around Sam's was part of the evening - we are simple people. Anyway, all five rolls came out and had AMAZING pictures of when the kids were babies.
Why is it that I have never once been able to have a doctor's visit (for me, Matthew or the kids) where we pay our co-pay or deductible, they bill the insurance and then everything is fine and dandy? I am so frustrated right now because I have just spent the past 2 hours of my morning looking up claims and receipts online and then talking with "associates" from the insurance company and doctor's offices that try and make you feel like a complete idiot for not understanding their way of processing all these transactions. After my three colon surgeries I felt like I had become a pro at dealing with it, but I have lost my edge.
In Luke's Wednesday night Bible class this year, they have been focusing on stories from the New Testament. In addition, they have learned a little song that helps them memorize the Books of the New Testament as well. He was so proud last week after class, his teacher had given him a story book because he was able to say all of the books for his teachers on his own. When he was singing it for me in the car, I actually had to peek in my Bible to check because I had forgotten the order, so he apparently knows them better than I do! He has since taken to trying to teach the song to the twins, who are not doing too bad, but still have a ways to go. But for now, I constantly have that little song running through my mind from having heard it so many times over the last couple of weeks.

I never grow tired of seing the kids putting on "dress up" clothes and using their imaginations to change who they are. Yesterday alone I found myself surrounded by ninja's, Powers Rangers, Buzz Lightyears, princesses, and several mommies and daddies.
