Now you see it, now you don't...

He looks innocent enought, right? Well, looks can be deceiving. Sam has turned into our sneakly little fibber the past couple of weeks.

We have had to have several talks with him about telling the truth and not hiding things from mommy and daddy.
For instance, we have always struggled with getting Sam to eat food that is actually good for him. My mom can attest to the fact that even as a baby, he would clear his high chair tray if we put anything that resembled a fruit or vegetable in front of him. Being three now, he has learned that tactic no longer works. So, he gotten creative. Matt and I have discovered many fruits and vegetables hidden under his chair at the dinner table in an attempt to collect his dessert.
He topped himself this weekend when we had dinner at Chris and Kathy's house and he shoved his burrito that he was supposed to eat before he could have dessert between her washing machine and dryer. Which, Kathy just discovered TODAY - 5 days later (he's getting better at hiding). Matt and I attempted to talk to him about it at the lunchtable today, but the look on his face (as if he was recalling his materpiece of a hiding job) was just too much and we both had to head to the kitchen and laughed until we cried.

He has aslo been quite the little fibber lately, not caring at all about lying straight to our faces about littl ethingfs like whather he cleaned his room, washed his hands or hit his brother.

But we absolutely could not love him any more than we do. He is an amazingly funny, tenderhearted, devoted little boy who can light the world with his mischievous smile.
